We were asked to develop National Trust’s latest concept ‘These are the places that make us’ into a memorable campaign suitable for a variety of marketing mediums. The aim was to draw out the connection between the National Trust and the life-changing impact its places have on individuals’ lives.
We explored several creative approaches to unite the three hero stories (Margaret, Julie and Mal) as one campaign to not only naturally evolve National Trust’s brand positioning, but to also blend the stories together to create a more powerful overarching campaign. We used our expertise to propose the best creative approach to each media channel, applying advertising craft to a raw campaign idea.
We launched the campaign in February 2019 across multiple channels in both static and digital, including rail, road, national press and supermarket OOH sites in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
